Hello

I have been asked why my blog has not been updated yet... Well, I am not officially on my adventure yet, so I didn't think about updating. But due to popular demand, I will release some more information. David and I leave on Tuesday morning, arriving in Berlin on the morning of the 20th. We have tightened our plans up a little bit, but it is still open to the whims of adventure. We will hang out in Berlin for a few days and then head for Gdansk Poland. Hopefully we will be able to explore the Baltic coast a little, maybe going to the Hell Penninsula. From there we are heading for Krakow and a few smaller towns between there and Slovakia. To end up in Budapest for some relaxing mineral baths. From there we will go into the Czech Republic and first explore Moravia and then to the better known Bohemia and Prague. From there we shall return into Germany and travel back up to Berlin.

The plan is starting to come together

So...I will be traveling around Eastern Europe for a month. I am super excited to do this. I have been needing to travel. I have been doing a bit of it around the good old USA. Moving to the west coast has sort of felt like a vacation, and I have been back and forth between here, Miami, St. Louis, Austin, Alabama. But I am in the need for some culture shock ... which I don't think will happen to me, but a complete change in scenery and perception are the main goals.
The plan so far:
-Fly into Berlin, hang out there for a few days, try to gather some info.
-Get to the Polish border and catch a train up to the Baltic coast, maybe around Gdansk.
-From there, head south to Warsaw, Krakow, any cool spots in between.
-Keep moving South into Slovakia through to Hungary.
-Get in tune with some Medieval towns then head to Budapest for some public hot spring action
-Get to the Czech Republic, see the bone monastery (Kutna Hora). Revisit Prague, get into rural Czech Republic, maybe see Austria
-Head back into Germany from there, try to hit Munich, Cologne, anywhere else we can before returning to Berlin.
-All in one month's time.
